Artistry By the Sea is an artist-owned curated boutique in Cayucos — a seaside space dedicated to celebrating the beauty of nature and the hands inspired by it. We feature jewellery, ceramics, textiles, fine art, candles and other thoughtfully made goods.
Our vision is a space where customers feel connected to the artists behind the work. We share your story through displays, photographs and artist spotlights, so every visitor knows what they're holding was made by a real person with passion and purpose — and so they can go on to buy directly from you.
A few things to note, in the interest of transparency:
- The shop owner is a jewellery artist, and is unlikely to carry much jewellery from other jewellery artists unless the work is exceptional and very unique.
- We look for ocean-inspired work that isn't kitschy or overdone. We only consider hypoallergenic metals — nothing plated — and natural materials such as glass and stone, not plastic or polymer clay.
- Products must be elevated, high quality, and not something you see in every coastal store. We want things that feel unexpected.
- We have limited wall space, so we select very little wall art.
We review applications periodically. If you don't hear from us right away it doesn't mean you never will — we reach out when the fit is right. Please don't chase us for a response; we're not able to reply to every application.
